THE PROCESS OF TAKING THEATRICAL HEADSHOTS
We make theatrical headshot sessions a smooth, relaxing and enjoyable experience:
Preparation: We begin with an initial consultation either in person, over the phone or via video chat. This allows us to understand what it is you want to achieve before the day’s shooting.
Shoot: Once you’ve booked a session, you then visit our professional studio that’s equipped with industry-grade equipment, backdrops and lighting. This intimate, warm and welcoming space will immediately put you at ease, plus we can start by having a cuppa and setting the scene. A theatrical headshot session will usually last around an hour but we’ll make sure not to rush you, as capturing the perfect look is crucial.
Viewing and selection: We know you’ll be excited to see your photos, so we’ll send you some sneak peeks. Next, we put together a selection of the best images from your session for you to view either back at our studio or remotely via a private web gallery. If you find it hard to choose, we’ll offer some expert input to make it easier.
Retouch and delivery: We need your shots to be absolutely spot on, so our team will apply skilled retouching to your final cut. Once finished, we’ll then deliver your theatrical headshots in both colour and monochrome, as well as in two sizes – high resolution for printing and low resolution for online use and submission to agencies.
